About Us
We are an esteemed educational academy dedicated to providing Islamic education for children aged 4 to 18. Our team comprises experienced educators with over 15 years of expertise in teaching and managing diverse community projects in Luton.
Currently, we offer after-school Arabic and Islamic Studies programs at River Bank Primary School, alongside online learning opportunities for some of our students. We are proud to have a talented staff proficient in delivering a customised curriculum tailored to meet the needs of our students.
What Make Us Spcecial ?
The type of Islamic education we deliver involves the theory as well as activities and role plays.
We aim to prioritize character building, recognizing the pressing need for greater emphasis in this area. Within Islam, the significance of good character and manners is profoundly underscored in both the Quran and the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad. His life exemplifies the values of kindness, courage, forbearance, and forgiveness. The Prophet’s central mission was to inspire good character in every facet of people’s lives.
As the Prophet Muhammad stated, “I have been sent to perfect good character” (al-Muwaṭa 1614), and “The most beloved of you to Allah is the best of you in character” (Bukhari).
We aspire to reflect these teachings within our community. Unfortunately, many children today find themselves engaged in criminal activities, such as drug dealing, at a young age. We believe that by integrating character education into our curriculum, we can inspire our children to become better individuals and contribute positively to society. Promoting positive role models among our students and the broader community is another key strategy we employ to combat the rise in crime and enhance social mobility and overall well-being.
Additionally, we are committed to providing equal opportunities for all children, particularly recognizing the gap in Islamic education for those with special needs. Addressing this area is crucial to delivering an effective and inclusive educational experience for every child.
We also aspire to promote healthy eating and underscore the vital importance of regular exercise. Numerous studies demonstrate that physical activity significantly reduces the risk of major illnesses, including heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and cancer. Moreover, engaging in regular exercise has been shown to enhance self-esteem, improve mood, foster better sleep, and mitigate cognitive decline. In an era where modern lifestyles and increasing reliance on technology have led to decreased physical activity, we recognise the pressing need to counter this trend.
Research indicates that inactive children are at a higher risk of becoming inactive adults, which places them in jeopardy of developing life-threatening conditions such as heart disease and cancer. This underscores the importance of fostering a culture of fitness and physical activity from a young age.
To address this, we are excited to introduce weekend sports clubs for both boys and girls, complemented by initiatives for adults to encourage their active participation. In conjunction with these efforts, we plan to offer healthy eating classes and workshops to instill lifelong habits of good nutrition.
Additionally, we aim to create community-building activities for adults, such as coffee mornings and walking clubs, to further promote an active and health-conscious lifestyle.
